i havent been able to find it either and none of the new tracks are showing up on lastfm either so i highly doubt that it has leaked. the torrents that are available are fake too

i listened to cookie mountain again yesterday and it became a little clearer. the first trk is good, the second is bad, playhouses is good.

ok so the album has leaked on what.cd which similar to moo website where you need a special invite to access the contents of that website

Wow, I'm really disappointed with this. I was hoping that the two preview tracks wouldn't end up being the best on the album...but they were. DLZ is an ok song but the rest sounds like a shitty Dave Matthews Band songs... I hope all the negative press they'll get for this release will spurn them on to make something better...

this album definately grows on you , i would suggest to give it a few lessons

its not as great as Return to cookie mountain though

DLZ is an OK track I guess...and the opener has it's moments.

so what makes the great buzzybass sound they use on the two preview tracks? is that a pedal effect on a bass guitar or a moog or something?

Lol, Pitchfork gave it a 9.2%, that's higher than they gave to Return to Cookie Mountain and the Young Liars EP. What idiots...

I love TVOTR alot, I've bought every release of theirs since the very beginning, but this record is pretty bad save for three tracks (Golden Age, Dancing Choose and DLZ). I hope they can turn their act around for the next release.

BTW, has anyone heard the bonus tracks?

i thought it was only slightly disappointing, and in fact it's grown on me somewhat ... but i still don't think it's quite as good as cookie mountain

I've tried with this album quite hard but I can't find it anything other than a little nice. I don't understand the hype they get, aside from a handful of great songs I've always thought they were pretty average
