Aye, it was so good I forgot he was there until you reminded me. As a DJ, so what and his own stuff I just find dull. He seems to get onto every bill of nights I go to, for about a year there he was Bangfaces resident bitch and when hes playing at acid on sea it'll give me a chance to sit on deck have a drink and watch the city. Fuck knows what anyone seems in him, glad you enjoyed it.

I kind of agree with you, really. Every time I see him people are going quite mental but he's spewing out some of the most boring, weak sounding music I've ever heard. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but his sets always pale in comparison to almost all the other acts I see on those nights.

Luke is consistently great. Wicked, funky varied sets, always sounds great, never fails to get the party going.

yeah right. well, i wasn't at that gig, but i saw him at the big chill a couple of weeks ago and he was fucking awesome. he pulled out i love acid and shadows and loads of quality tunes.

hes a genius!

and so is squarepusher, im liking his new direction.

I feel a bit bad, was speaking to him for a bit last week and he seemed like a decent bloke, so im going to abstain from all mention Vibert again =)

I have tickets, am hoping that this will live up to my unfairly high expectations. I appreciate Tom's guitar/jazz/improv/noise/stuff but I like it when he seperates his more ravey material like he did at his Koko gig. Jazz guitar sheit then bring the rave, Bangface was great but a bit disjointed for a rave. Wonder who else will appear on the lineup? It's a long one so I'm expecting a hearty amount of Squarepusher and Luke Vibert isn't gonna fill in the rest of the night.

Yeah Ceephax would be top notch.

I imagine the tickets aren't selling particularly quickly, don't hang about though jump on it!

Btw I reccomend if you're getting tickets to collect them at the venue on the night as you jump the massive queue plus don't tend to get searched if you blagg the bouncer by waving a bit of printed paper in his face and asking where you collect tickets from. ;)

bouncers only search for bottles anyway dont they?

The Warehouse guys normally just pat down for hefty stuff like bottles and weapons yeah.

Also they do have sniffers every now and again depending on the night in question.

Never seen anyone busted myself though
