Yeah, this is a nice track. I like that Mr. Jenkinson just cannot stick with a particular style.

First thoughts:

Love that drum sound. Nice and dry with barely any compression. Come to think of it, the whole recording is super dry, which is definitely different for him. Of course, the arrangement could use a little something extra like some countermelody.

I'm glad he's back doing aggressive stuff again. I would still like to hear more electronic fuckery, but I'll wait until the album's out for judgement cause I doubt he would just stop doing something he's so damn good at.

i think this track is perfect for what it is and for its intentions; straight-forward, aggressive, fun, not too long (lol). also i think is great that is the 1st track preview (maybe the only one) for the new album. for hello everything, it was The Modern Bass Guitar, and everyone expected something completely different...

it definetly "rocks". sounds like a sketch for a great song. i'd prefer if it had some mad programmed beats instead of live drums, and epic synthlines to compliment it. but i guess he's going for a more live, raw approach. lets see how it works with the rest of the album.

I'm open to the idea of him doing something more RAWK on principle, but I just found this track bloody weak. It just needs something more, definitely another part or something. I know that sounds a bit arrogant - it's his music, after all. But I tried to like it and just found it lacking (I know it's a low quality myspace file, but I can hear enough to know what's going on musically....)

Its no "Do You Know Squarepusher" but his choice, like I know any better =)

It's reminiscent of a break-part of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by QUEEN, isn't it?

anyway, I Love This Tune and looking forward to The Album release.
