the album sounds pretty good though, strangely enough.

I enjoy the way he's actually writing an album about something for once. an album should be more than 10 seperate tunes youve written in the last 6 months.

You have to hand it to the guy, you always get a new direction with each release. For better or worse.

I think overall Hello Everything was a more solid album but this one does have some very impressive workouts on it.

The hard normal daddy meets Rotted one note aspects i love a lot about this LP, the parts i don't like are the punk drumming on several songs, and the few (3?) songs that are just solo instruments twiddles i think could be cut off this album to make it more solid.

squarepusher these days seems to be the jack of all trades but master of none. When he focuses on a smaller concept like in Go Plastic i think his experiments are much more successful
