Nyquil and humble pie. I quit my job yesterday and probably caused a big fuss with the owners, investors and upper-ups. Fuck them. Nyquil cuz I'm sick and it makes me feel like I can't talk

Actually it's the shitty store-brand nyquil, which seems like a bargain, but somehow they manage to make it all Jagermeister flavored so it's almost worse. Whatever.

What's that? A cinnamon bun/roll?

Savoury pastries also occur, with the worstenbroodje (a roll with a sausage of ground beef, literally translates into sausage bread) being the most popular.

Salt beef sandwich with english mustard, beer (a leffe, a punk ipa and leaving for a walk in a minute so a couple of peronis too).

Tried a new recipe today: Moroccan stew w/ sweet potato, aubergine, squash, tomato & raisins, seasoned with a cinnamon stick, turmeric & paprika. Holy shit I can't stop eating it!

Hard root beer (5.5abv). Unsurprisingly, it tastes like medicine.

yep, that one BCM. very tasty drop indeed. I was a bit skeptical when I first tried it due to it's fairly low alcohol content, but was more than pleasantly surprised. yum.

had a lush meal prepared for me. Pan seared salmon fillet with a stir fry of garlic, mushrooms, green chillies, asparagus, sugarsnap peas, broccoli and lemon grass.

Things I changed: soaked & cooked dry chickpeas instead of using canned; fresh tomatoes instead of canned; I caramelised onion & green bell pepper in a cast iron skillet and added them to the stew at the end; used a whole cinnamon stick rather than use powdered.
