Autechre Autechre.. totally different live?

hey gl0tch... weeeirrdd maaan! I don't like all your synths and samples but I really like how you control the dynamics/rhythm side and I can def. hear the influence in the melodies. liking the shit from around 30-45% in. keep at it.

this article about animal collective related madness (so many good live boots of this album already) reminded me of this thread actually... I've done shit like this with songs in the past, it's fun.

Thanks spraaaa. I actually thought the same exact thing when I first read that article yesterday morning, as GB3 and I have managed to release some successful pre-AE and Tuss clones in the past. Fun times.

I'm pretty ashamed that I've never seen Autechre live. Missed the LA show last year to go to some other show, which was awesome, but still doesn't feel like it was the right move. I wasn't expecting the Quaristice live show to be so damn good, I guess.

I'd like a live blu ray, though, so I can test the black levels on my new LCD.

I totally agree with Sam > why Ae don't release the Quaristice live set is the biggest disappointment in the field of music this year. I've posted about this numerous time previously in the hope that they might release it, albeit naively. I know they read this forum, but it will never happen.

Anyone have any good recordings other than the Toronto Live set from this year?

the one for toronto 08 is if you look in the sticky at the top of this forum, it's not a soundboard but imo its the best quality quaristice set out there, though i may be biased cause i saw it live myself :D

Nothing's up. I just wanted to know if you got to the bottom of why that guy was being so weird and aggressive to you in the pub? That's far more ineresting than anything to do with autechre. Infact, i bet autechre, BoC and plaid have been sitting on this forum for the past 6 weeks waiting to find out if you ever found out why that guy was acting the way he was.

for some reason dr clitterhaus gets really disgruntled when people talk about

how they would love to get a soundboard set.
