some times it sounds ok, but it doesn't sound like all the classics it says it does.

the "dark 80's electro" section totally isn't accurate sounding at all.

its essentially a groovebox though! and released in 2008 :) im guessing they were trying to compete with elektron, but only time will tell what this thing will do.

no, no way in hell could I afford to buy shit like that right now.

I try to never spend more than like 100$ on a piece of gear in general atm.

yeah but it doesn't sound that great, and for 3500 I could build a fucking massive modular that not only sounds better, but probably just as much variety.

I like the concept but my laptop + soundcard + cheap evolution controller + bidule cost less altogether and do not any have wood siding. also the modules look kinda limited (tho that probably depends a lot on how you can connect them). would love to see some other things like this developed though... nord micromod groovebox or something...

wow yeah, you could build that many modules for way cheaper, and have them be analog...

lol £1800 odd for that??? if I had a couple of grand to throw around I certainly wouldn't be spending it on an Arturia Origin.... you could get a Doepfer modular system AND a Moog Little Phatty for that kind of money.

There's no real point spending money now, these things won't be cool until 2030.

Knowing Arturia this thing will be bug ridden till 2010 and I can't see how they'll beat Elektron for workflow but we'll have to wait and see.

Only 4 part tho :( for the money a Monomachine and Machinedrum will give you more.
