Z-twig copyright through GTA4?

Recommended Posts

So one of my videos including z-twig by mister rdj has been banned because of copyright infringement; "In your video, "Eveningsings", there's eventually sounds from #16 by Aphex Twin, that is owned or licensed by WMG."

Many of the comments to this particular vid has been about GTA4 and what a great tune z-twig is on some radio station I suppose, or game trailer blablabla. So I start thinkin is the copyr.infr. because of GTA4 "owning" z-twig or would it have been the same if I would have used eg. Cliffs off on SAW2?

It's like okay I can understand if james brown - I feel good is forbidden on youtube - got a vid banned for that too - but I did get annoyed about this aphexy thing.

Will be interesting to see how randomly measures are taken to counteract these crimes of extreme danger, as there are l-o-t-s of Z-twig vids out there. I mean really would you care about stuff like that as long as it didn't get big in some way? but sure they(he) still got their rights on every level

Guest my usernames always really suck

I recall seeing a video that had that Global Communication's Maiden Voyage track up, and it was taken down due to a copyright complaint by Take Two Interactive.

...even though it was the longer vinyl version, not the abridged version of the track from the game.

my "rubber jonny early demo" video got taken down. flagged for obscenity apparently, though the person who flagged it only did so cause i "seemed like a real prick"

Am seriously getting pissed off with WMG so thats why I made this youtube video to vent my anger some how
