Maybe you're thinking of The Breakfast Machine theme? I actually thought of picking that one but Sabre Dance is just a bit more awesome.

But Sabre Dance is in lots and lots of movies and cartoons...

headwear: two flashlights strapped to head with paisley bandana

upper clothing: breathable mesh jacket (mesh to stop biting)

lower clothing: mesh pantaloons with utility pockets (again, mesh to stop biting)

main weapon: automatic shotgun

secondary weapon: blunderbuss (in case ammo becomes scarce)

inventory: eco friendly windup radio/flashlight/battery charger, cyanide capsule

stronghold: wherever i can get to - keep moving

vehicle: a hybrid car (dont want to attract attention with noisy engine), SUV or offroad motorbike

The apocalypse happens right after you're discharged from the hospital after getting a procedure that causes the song to play in your head all the time.
