Autechre Autechre leaked max/msp patch

So there is a leaked patch in the download section, and I downloaded it. I only have Reason 4, and I have never used Max/Msp, I'm a huge noob at DAW's but is there any way to get this to run on reason or any other DAW or does it have to be max/msp?

I read the first page or two of the document that comes with it, the technicalities blew my mind though so I stopped about 10 pages from the end or something.

Someone here must know how to use this thing

you have to use max. Its a patch for max, its not going to open in reason. Just download the demo for max.

EDIT: Whoops - found it!

so I got the max 5 demo. Still can't get it to work. Firstly I have absolutely no idea how to use Max, although I know its a rediculously deep and complicated program.

I just want to run this patch and see what happens, the description sound pretty awesome. So how do you run this shit? It has Max 5 and Max 5 runtime, not sure which one to use although they appear to be the same thing.

I opened the files and just got a bunch of error messages in the main window

just run a jpg of sean booth through fruity beepmap

It's not that exciting really. Just a sort of buzzy beat, iirc.

Atleast, i wasn't too surprised when i first opened it.

Can anyone give me a track or live set with time co-ordinates as a reference to where this patch came from? The description said it was used during the EP7 era but that is a bit vague
