AFX + HECKER @ BLOC 2009 (COMPLETE SET)

I recorded the whole set for a chance of track id's. i always stand virtually inside the speaker so its obviously going to be distorted. here is a sample to give you an idea of the quality:

the wav file is 1.2gig. i want someone who knows how to reduce distortion to have a go at it before it is released into the wild. pm me for link.

Thats pretty cool! But it doesn't really show how distorted the beats are going to be, is there a lot of bass heavy kicks going on that just blast away the rest of the music?

I know how to reduce distortion...but i have to hear it first and then i'll determine what to do.

that intro was fucking brilliant ! i even started gettin a bit scared it was real and robo men had taken over the world at one point there. the bit where the bloke with headphones on ducks down looks really weird + funny for some reason aswell

I like to think that I would be able to witness the whole video footage very soon.

the recording will not capture the effect of the surround sound business... the back of the room was filled with scary hecker madness while the front of the room was full of afx . in the middle of the room everything seemed to gel.

the people at the back were moody

i think the combination of the surround sound and the omnipresent strobing afx logo could have sent some people over the edge

i look forward to hearing whatever recording of the whole set

Are we talking about a direct recording from the mix or just a mic here?

i havent clicked on any links in this thread... but judging by what i read in the first post, this was recorded via mic from near a speaker stack, presumably at the front of the room.....

dunno if it was hecker... but it sounded like effects which could've been done with supercollider or reaktor.
