i guess you had to been there to really appreciate it Kaen. but it's cool to have a recording to get the basic idea of how it was. i'm intrested to hear the other incomplete recording. we could patch it together with the first 20min of this recording.

i guess so but fuck, if i wanted to see a dj play stuff id go wherever, this is fucking aphex, people go to see him play HIS shit live and possibly get a glimpse of new music. whats the point otherwise?

Truth, i cant believe he hasnt even attempted a proper live set for ages, mixing tracks is just the same as any other person mixing records. And he hardly ever plays anything new. At least if he played a shed load of badass shizna it would actually make it worth while, which is the reason u might wana another dj play cos they play new tracks etc. Hears to the next gig, maybe something might crop up there. And yeah lets be honest, it wouldnt of mattered if hecker was there or not really would it?

Oh man it starts out pretty good, but once the bass kicks in, oooooooooof. It sounds pretty cool anyway, actually.

well he's on some world tour of events now, maybe atleast some new material will crop up in one of the sets.

thanks for your efforts kaen. is the flac any better? i hope the other mic recording sees the light as no soundboard was recorded. however im sure many recordings of the tour will eventually surface.

Haha, moaning on the internet?! Surely not. RDJ is a wicked DJ, if you've heard him bang it out before you'd apprieciate his skills in track selection and the way his sets are structured. You're lucky he plays out at all.

Also, any recording is better than no recording at all. Thank you to both the people who taped. Flicking through there's at least one bit of unreleased AFX acid.

That's definitely a new unreleased AFX/Aphex/Tuss track. If this won't be released on his new album, then nothing will! That's really an insane track, damn! ;) I wonder if there are a lot of added sound fx to this track that starts at 6.14

it sounds better than the torino gig where afx is "mixing" in hecker's stuff. now hecker takes care of the effects and richard can focus more on track selection and/or playing "live". i like the idea.

p.s: the recording is horrible :grin:...

I disagree anyway. I can see alot better people who rinse it out and know how to select a track anywhere. I want to see rich use some of the skill that he uses in his tracks in live sets, its that simple.

there is going to be a bloc dvd, but no aphex on it. he didnt want his set recorded.

so the best is going to be a mobile phone job afaik.
