My avatar is a Renault 5 Turbo, 1989, and is somewhat out of action, but I have fond memories.

haha way cooler than a VW. R5s are wicked. i don't know too much about Rovers but i do know that for pure gigles you can't beat a tiny car with big turbo. (especially if it's RWD.)

lol, yeah man, the one I posted is a 4.6 V8 running as standard 260 BHP, then they did a version (In that pic) with a supercharger running 530!!!! Fucking completely tossing nuts, I mean, just why? Lol, pure fucking fun, keeps with the like of your Ferraris and Lambos to about 160, and then of course its about as aerodynamic as a bus.

Edit: The MG I'm talking about! Rover built some amazing K-series engines! And they gave them two headgaskets eventually, in case one of them blew, problem solved!

This has been eagerly anticipated and failed to deliver on production costs for sometime (I haven't read the article), I just wish they'd fucking get on and launch it, I just don't see it catching on though, people who can afford 50 grand and want a fast car, are not bothered about economy and can get something much quicker for even less, so I'm not sure it''ll catch on but we'll see. And it may be sexy, but you can still tell its an electric car from first glance.

This for example:

0-60 in 3.9 seconds, top speed well in excess of 180, can pick one up for around £40,000.
