If it was legalized, your dealers would disappear. They wouldn't be able to compete with large companyies prices. People will usually go for the cheaper product, whether the quality is compromised or not.

Yeah but if it were legalized, cost would plummet and quality would skyrocket. Basically, with prohibition there is additional risk fees on the drug considering it takes a risky setup to grow dope, and even more risky setup to grow really good dope.

If it were to be legalized, then enourmous warehouses outfitted with the top of the line technology would be legal and easy to set up. I cant see it doing anything bad for weed in general. Yeah, dealers would disappear (Except for later on at night when the store is closed).

I guess you would have people breeding their own strains for friends to taste too but yeah I dont imagine it could do anything bad for weed culture.

I think you underestimate american laziness/reliance on convenience. Why would they hassle with growing it if they could just wander into Walmart or a convenient store and get it for cheap? Lots of people could grow their own vegetables and then not have to worry about where they came from or if they have pesticides on them, but they don't. They still go into stores about buy them because growing them for themselves takes effort.

So since the larger companies would be growing them, why would they worry about quality that much? They could cut it with whatever they want (see: most big tobacco companies) and increase their profits exponentially.

Sure, the purists would grow their own stuff, but the majority would just go to the store and by Marlboro Greens or whatever.

If you are already a grower, and you have the whole set-up going, and plants flowering, etc... then sure... keep it up. but very few people are going to start growing it once it becomes legal. just like very few people bother to brew their own beer. why go to all the trouble when you can get a much better beer at the corner store for reasonable price?

what the fuck is so important about making everyone more retarded

god damn

just come up to Alaska, you can have an ounce and 3 plants legally

Are there a lot of women in alaska like the one in your avatar? She is from that show that I can't remember the name of.

Im for legalizing all drugs, but only dispensed at pharmacy locations. With a bit of council. No commercializing.

Id be even more for it if there was public transportation like in Europe. Its all driving over here. Which is bad, but many people are already driving on currently illegal drugs and sedating legal ones. So, whatever.

yeah, i can't see any reason why crack or crystal meth should be legal.

pot? yes. mushrooms? yes. LSD? probably yes. cocaine and heroine? there's compelling arguments for and against. crack or crystal meth? the harm outweighs the benefits.
