most if not all musical genre names are 'gay' so to pick on IDM specifically is to jump on the band wagon of holier than thou faggots who have made it trendy to scream every time someone says the acronym (some have even gone as far as censoring it off the message board, an almost literal Olympic dive into the band wagon of IDM the acronym hating).
