i used to take my roomate's food all the time back in the day. they confronted me and told me not to. i said something along the lines of "if that shit is in the cabinet, i'm gettin' me some!". they then stored their food in their rooms!

Urmph. I'm going to ask one of my roommates if he ate the tuna as soon as he wakes up at 3 p.m. He has been hiding a lot from me lately. It's kind of creepy. I notice that they stir as soon as I turn the water on in the shower.

I pay my rent early every month, clean up after the cavemen, and I'm the only one employed and with a vehicle. I think I deserve not to have a can of gourmet tuna stolen from my cupboard.

Additionally, I'm not a minority. Just the fact that I live in this building raises the property value of the entire block. Real estate agents keep following me home and asking me stupid questions. Not really, but I just wanted to act racist so we can all learn a valuable lesson about cultural tolerance.

I emptied the trash yesterday and haven't eaten tuna in about a week so I know it's one of them hoodlums. I'll be moving my things into my room now.

OP: check for footprints in the butter

poison yourself a little bit every day until you build up a tolerance. then poison your food so that you can eat it and live while your housemates can not. weather or not you tell them of these new and dangerous circumstances is up to you. i guess it depends on how much you need housemates.
