why are cats more popular than dogs on the internet?

i know a lot of pit bull owners and i wasn't talking about the responsible ones. Im talking about the type of people who own pit bulls, leave them unattended outside stores, and when they viciously attack their immediate response is 'what did you do to my dog' this actually happened to me. most of the one's I've been around are very friendly

around berkeley/oakland it's extremely common for people not to follow the leash laws and/or leave their dogs unattended when they go shopping. When i grew up in the suburbs most dog owners would leave the dog in the car with the window rolled down, that is much less common around here.

Nice! I am a cat person but if I was to ever get a dog, I would mos def get one of those. I'm not into picking up big hot dog poops though so I would have to have some kids first so I could make them do it.

I like dogs & cats both. All my cats and dogs are very affectionate, and have massif personality. None of my cats were ever of the "fuck you" type.

i dont like the way cats appear to be far to intelligent to be locked up in a house entertaining another species. dogs seem like all they really want out of life is a regular meal, aload of attention, and some excersize, which any good dog owner gives his dog. dogs essentially have perfect lives and that pleases me.

My sympathies if they pee on everything.  My boy cat ran away after we kept throwing him outside for peeing on stuff.  He even peed on my wife.
