"It's lazy of the local shopkeepers to close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during "siesta" time — this should be banned."

"We booked an excursion to a water park but no one told us we had to bring our swimming costumes and towels."

yeah, it's bullshit - who made these complaints? who even said they are complaints? who did they make these complaints to? eg:

  Quote
The brochure stated: "No hairdressers at the accommodation." We're trainee hairdressers — will we be OK staying here?

if anyone actually did say this it could have been said as a joke, or just someone pissing about.

this story is total tabloid bollocks to fill some space. also, if you Googled "stupid complaints made by Australians/Americans/Germans/fucking Egyptians" i bet there's loads.

last post.

british people should be banned from leaving their country, same with germans.

didn't you go on a magic mushroom bender in amsterdam and get taken in by the police, sopping wet or something?

yes, but at least i knew this might happen. going to a beach vacation and complaining about sandy beaches and fish in the sea is on a whole other level of stupid.

the biggest illusion is yourself

yes, but that's just something some bloke wrote that someone did - it doesn't mean it actually happened. he's just trying to invoke an image of this pompous British person who went to their hotel concierge and started complaining that there were fish in the sea for a few laughs.

yet we all believed him

*feels stupid*

an american tourist once stopped me on the royal mile to ask if 'they' take everything (he points at castle, john knox house, etc) down at the end of the edinburgh festival each year.

Last time I checked complaining about sandy beaches didn't cause a magic mushroom ban.

fuckin lol

i love american tourists.. i live in a small, old, very medieval-looking town in germany so we get a lot of americans who have never seen anything older than 200 years before and some of the things they do/ask are just too much

also, a japanese couple asked me once if they could take a picture of me so they could show their friends in japan how europeans look like

we get loads of american tourists where i live and they are always the most fucking rediculous. you want to hate their ignorance but it's so much more fun to be a dick

life feels like a perpetual cycle of negativity because you keep feeding the part of your self that always wants more. the part of you that always wants more, isnt who you really are. that is why when you obtain something, anything, youre still not satisfied. it seems you could obtain anything in the world...a ferrari, a mansion, 10 beautiful girlfriends, all the gear youve ever dreamed of, a lover, a family, real friends, food, money, and even the way you relate to god. these are all things your outer self wants to obtain for its own use, but because you are not your real self, when you get these things, they somehow dont satisfy your needs. this seems impossible to the mind, so it quickly goes towards what it thinks it knows, and that leads to more unhappiness and dissatisfaction . the trick is to realize your true self, and that less is actually more
