yeah, it's bullshit - who made these complaints? who even said they are complaints? who did they make these complaints to? eg:

You're just mad because they're picking on british tourists instead of american tourists for once.

yeah but you still say 'can i have a beer please'

not just demand 'beer'

manners cost sod all!!

am i right? :D

Instead of saying "please", I tossed an extra dollar or two on the bar... I'm fairly certain the bartender could give fuck all if I said please or not when they were getting tips from me all night.

then it becomes less about politeness and more about showing off your wealthiness and slapping bums

i was at a goth pub last night and there were all these american goths on the goth tour of london. the barman said someone tried to order "two beers".

I would love to know what a goth pub looks/is like

dark

Guest Gary C

I\'ve been, but I can\'t remember the name. It was Victorian looking, dark (mainly black, purple and red) with shelves full of books.

Nope. There it is. Devonshire Arms, Camden. Can\'t remember why I was even there.

people like that piss me off sooooo much. sadly, my dad is one of them. he actually complained about the road network not being extensive enough in Center Parcs.

and i hate all these cunts that emigrate to spain, only to form little ghettos and never integrate with the locals and never even learn spanish. Pricks pricks pricks.

So being less negative is counter-productive.  That makes sense.

life feels like a perpetual cycle of negativity because you keep feeding the part of your self that always wants more. the part of you that always wants more, isnt who you really are. that is why when you obtain something, anything, youre still not satisfied. it seems you could obtain anything in the world...a ferrari, a mansion, 10 beautiful girlfriends, all the gear youve ever dreamed of, a lover, a family, real friends, food, money, and even the way you relate to god. these are all things your outer self wants to obtain for its own use, but because you are not your real self, when you get these things, they somehow dont satisfy your needs. this seems impossible to the mind, so it quickly goes towards what it thinks it knows, and that leads to more unhappiness and dissatisfaction . the trick is to realize your true self, and that less is actually more

its actually a shitty raking it in pub off tottenham court road that has little charcter. fajke cobwebs on all the polymer gargoyles - the building may be older than america but its not an old pub. just a cosy decor place where they sell a few decent ales and testtubes of spirits named after the adams family. probably one of the best in that area though, its a quick walk to soho but everything is packed there so nice to know it. ended up in another silly goth boozer later too - apparently where jimi hendrix got 'discovered'(!?), some street where turnkeys is. ended up humming and air guitaring the master of puppets solo with a stranger. fun drunkey.
