a little, heheh. actually most of my music these days is designed to sound really amazing on acid. lots of reverb, delay, slow amplitude and frequency modulation on guitars, etc.

well, one track is 12 minutes, the other 18. the 12 minute one is two 6 minute variations on the same idea, and the 18 minute track is around 12 minutes of ambience that changes into something different in the last 6mins. i guess i could split them into individual tracks if i wanted, but i'd like it if these tracks were listened to all in one sitting.

also, i've made the artwork already:

nice artwork, modey. my ep is looking like a lot of long ambient guitar pieces aswell. i got 3 done so far, around 6 minutes each. might try something with drums tonight..

i'm totally going to try and download everything from this year's p168, as long as it doesn't end up being 1000 entries or something, hahah!

Looking forward to hearing long reverbed out guitars, and Metroid inspired songs too.

yah the image is cool enough but the font is EXTREMELY OUT OF PLACE

you're right. any suggestions? I threw it together in about 2 min, literally.

I wrote 4 tracks yesterday! All I have left to do is to add some phat beats, detuned synths, and fx.

Two down, several to go. Most are sketched out, bought some lovely 2004 shiraz, some cheeba cheeba and a wide open weekend with nobody to pester me.

The timing on this was fantastic too, one last hurray before a show next weekend and a rush to pack up and move the studio.

i have been looking at this close up and I just can't work out how he did it - is it photoshop, or a scanned drawing, or bits of both? is there a photo lurking under there?

for some reason that sounds very promising.

wow, that atop cover is amazing. though once again i think the font is out of place - although i'm generally against text on album covers these days.
