Project 168 In Progress!

spent ages today on a wobbly synth that just didn't fit in the end.

but I did my cover, so at least thats something ...

if you love music, you're gonna hate my ep.

havent spent any time at all making a wishy washy cover, probably work against me, in fact, i have no cover art, ha

so far ive made 3 really unspectacular tracks and now im out of ideas.

i keep trying to make a new song but i just go in circles for hours and eventually give up. quite frustrating.

4 tracks done so far, 17 minutes total. will probably do another track tomorrow.

i got 4 tracks done, a little over 20 minutes. gonna try and do one more..

ive made 127 tracks so far and all of them are better than anything youve ever heard ever

and my "cover art" is more brilliant than anything you will ever see

i doubt that i'll submit anything though

you might want to check your pockets Ludd, i think that ipod you had with those 127 songs was just left on the plane we took together on the way to Karen Tregaskin's house

my life has been fucked lately and i missed the registration. is it too late? i have this weekend to do 2 tracks. or am i out of luck? i just registered anyway.

this ended up being the busiest week I've had this year, so unless I can get something good done on sunday I might not have anything, which sucks because I had been waiting to do this for so long.

I had to finish a 7 minute film, a generative animation, and I'm playing 2 shows this week. I don't think recording myself live would count sense a lot of the stuff I'm playing I wrote before this week.

oh well.

Despite mad job hunting AND working a new job, i'm mixing down my 2 track ep as we type. Is it good? eh... maybe. i dunno. i kinda like it.

edit: I'm also hoping lights set north, beneboi, monolith and maus are going to be submitting. i have no idea if they're registered though ....

very cool, i was actually hoping you'd do some more dubsteppy stuff (if not in general for the 168) i really like your production style

im trying to use a bunch of different physically modeled synths for mine and the Tension one in Ableton sounds awesome but fuck me if the arrange view in Ableton isnt a bitch to use. is there no way to just draw a new midi region on the timeline? seems like i actually have to hit record to see anything show up in the arrange tineline. if anybody feels like offering assistance hit me up on Harryprice over aim
