Yes. Geordies have quite a distinct gene pool, and it's not something that can be bred out easily. In about a decades time you will inevitably look like this

I hate 'the crimp'. I hate how every time pasties are mentioned, somebody has to mention miners and dirty hands. That's not why cornish pasties have a crimp. Its because calorie rich, nutritionally deficient working class food has been re-invented for the middle classes, and to add a note of 'authenticity', a touch of the artisan, they've put a big crust on it. Pastry is a lot cheaper than the meat filling. Its not 'authenticity', it's a profit margin.

My rant was edgey, no-nonesense, live-fast and die young. Like a Greggs cheese and onion.

Greggs really arent the best when they come to pasties but they are cheap and cheerful. A proper farm shop esque cornish pasty is one of the best things you can eat. They make my tastebuds trip dick
