encey, i'd probably have to recommend 'the new world' as well (i just bought the extended version so you can just borrow it if you want). i think it's really his masterpiece so far. i love everything else but this one brought tears to my eyes man, like straight up chills and shit. oh man, just thinking about it is freaking me out...i actually remember trying to describe malick films to you before the sotlol show, drunk style: "that's good. that's a good one."

pbn, i really hated gerry at first, but seeing it again was amazing. i'm really into this style of no-dialogue shit. problem is a lot of it is just stupid. maybe i'd feel differently about the qatsi films if it weren't for the glass music, i don't know.

sans soleil was cool, although it has narration. but same kind of film, sort of. although a bit better than baraka imo.

oh shit, the bear was my favorite movie as a kid. i love his mushroom trip.

Sans Soleil is my no 1 fav film to put dj sets made by myself on top of...
