where you all live, do you notice clothes on the street quite often? other places i've lived i haven't, and in most areas of amsterdam i don't, but around here i notice it quite often. shoes are quite common, whole outfits are also common (always at street corners, not with shoes), and sometimes i'll see one sock. wtf?

dude you totally should not have thrown out your other sock if all of them are the same. One day you will lose/soil/damage another sock and have thrown out 2 pairs when you would have had an extra sock.
