Actually yours are just second-wave hipsters who are simply following the trend. There are plenty here too, who mindlessly follow without any understanding of where the trend originated. Plenty of those all over the place.

i'd probably be considered a 'hipster' if i had any desire to be 'edgy' with my clothing choices. alas, i wear pretty much the same kind of clothes at work, home and in social situations. band t-shirt or neat short sleeved button up shirt, and cheap business trousers. i do own a pair of shutter shades actually. and was considering getting some flourescent shoes at some point.

I think you'll find that most people dont fit into any category if you talk to them long enough. Unless theyre trying hard to deceive you of theyre true personality.

So I wouldn't mind being stuck at a party with anyone, as long as theres alcohol a plenty.

I'm in hipster central right now (williamsburg brooklyn). It's quite epic. That is all.

This kid is too young to consciously be a "hipster" with all its implications. Just some young kid going through a phase and doesn't know any better.

A hipster for me is anyone who feels ashamed to be seen alone publically. Anyone who is strong enough be able t to exist as immune/unaware of social rules and standards are not hipsters.

A hipster is a sleek slippery socialite type who might appear as not a hipster to fool you. he might seem meek, but notice his socially endorsed fake friendly body language when conversing publically.

A real hipster will not dress overly "hip" cause that would give his game away. It's not a dress thing, it's a social thing and it fucking disgusts me.
