how serious do i need to be? i fucked around with an aphex track for a few nights and posted it on a message board. i know other people take some samples and then write their whole new song around it with these new, worked out parts and everything but this wasn't about that. it was just about putting the track in live, cutting it up, tweaking the pitches, relayerling and having fun making a remix. it's not the best thing ever, but for what it is it sounded pretty good to my ears. i thought it took some twists and turns and did some things that the original didn't. whatever, tho..

This would go great in a live set.

i was gonna say it sounded too much like the original track, but knowing what you were going for i'd say yea, it turned out pretty well. i don't know if i'd call it a remix, per say, but i could definitely see aphex dropping a chopped version of one of his tunes like this in a live set or something. but then again, a lot of rappers call something a remix if they just add a 16 bar verse to someone elses pop song with nothing else about it changed, so shit.....call it whatever you want, i guess.
