Autechre secretly involved in Ninja Burger franchise?

Recommended Posts

So I was placing an order on Ninja Burger for lunch today, my usual double ninja burger with a side of wasabi fries, when I decided to check out the parent company for the Ninja Burger site, Aethereal Forge. What a discovery! The logo is damning evidence Rob and Sean are secretly involved in the clandestine distribution of ninja burgers everywhere operating under the auspicious alias of Aeon.

about aeon

Aeonite (aka aeon) is Michael Fiegel, a writer and game designer best known as the creator of Ninja Burger and the Day of the Ninja. He is the founding member of aethereal FORGE, a loose coalition of artists and writers responsible collectively for Ninja Burger, Iconoclast and several other RPG projects including the critically acclaimed Hellas: Worlds of Sun & Stone, released in 2008, and the new Vox, released in 2009.

Aeonite was an early member of Fark.com and created many of that site's graphics during its fledgling years, including the logo. From 2002 to 2005 he was the Lead Columns Editor for RPG.net. He has written extensively for a variety of Role-Playing Game companies and websites, including Gamegrene (where he is co-editor) and R. Talsorian Games. He is a book reviewer for Slashdot.org, an editor on Wikipedia, and was a writer for Dragon Magazine up until their last issue in September, 2007.

And yes, they totally ripped out AE's logo, but admittedly it's not hard to see how design-wise he reached that conclusion.

everyone send him an email explaining this heresy. I will, everyone with 2 minutes on their hands should. It will be really really funny if we actually get him to change the logo on the site.
