i know this is the kinda song that has had approximately 78 appreciation threads, and i know talking about aphex twin isn't "in" as of late. but i felt like i completely relived this song, and revived the passion i have for it. i was listening to it on headphones while laying in my bed. when you have you sense of sight completely cancelled out by darkness, and the music is all you can hear, it's perfect. i forgot how absolutely gorgeous those vocals are halfway thru. and that last 20 seconds, holy fuck....i actually felt like a seizure was near.

so <33333333333333 for this song

It's bloody great, one of his best from that period. A great example of AFX's ability to take a LOT of riffs and separate parts and to make them ebb and flow in an immensely cohesive way.

Love how the simple use of a gater makes the end of the track sound like it's wrapping up and imploding on itself. Very clever indeed!

its good, but it aint no ziggo17

Don't understand the Ziggomatic love.

This might be Aphex's best work. One of the most intense musical experiences I've ever encountered. The track, particularly the second half/ending, educes a very physical and emotional effect. Plus, it's just breathtakingly gorgeous. One of my favorite tracks of all time.

Ziggomatic is of course a great track, but I've never seen it as the highlight that many do, especially next to Mt Saint Michels + St. Michaels Mount.

I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

4:50 onwards is what its all about me, aphex at his best. no one can touch that. and to me, 3:00-3:20 is the sorta thing snares can never pull off

the ending is probably my fav aphex ending too, 7:30+

agreed. at first I didn't enjoy Ziggo as much as people here did, but now I like it well enough. I still say Mt Saint Michel is the winner here, even if just for the emotional content. I don't get that claustrophobic-but-manic feeling from Ziggomatic.

THATS HOW U NO U GOD WHEN YOU GOTA MODEL AND SHE THROW UP ON YO DICK BECAUSE ITS SO BIG AND YOUR IN A LIMO GOING TO A LIL B CONCERT - Lil B
