In a bibio relateed manner, I was listening to Cry! Baby! just the other day and it only just clicked that the little bit at the end of the song is a lovely reprisal of part of The Clothesline And The Silver Birch, albeit with more of a beat and sounding a little more aged.

Burger me, those samples sound so very good.

I only listened to 40 seconds of each though, as at 2 mins for each sample, I don't want to spoil things too much.

I... I think I'm in love with Bibio. Rotten Rudd, Bones & Skulls, such wonderful pieces of music.

I've checked out samples of Bibio's previous stuff and it hasn't ever done much for me...but seeing all the love in this thread is making me rethink that a bit. Maybe I'm missing something and should just pick up an album and check out the whole thing. Checking out the Apple & Tooth samples now. Maybe it's the vocals I'm iffy about. Does he sing on just about all his stuff?

The new Bibio tracks sound absolutely gorgeous, and most of the remixes sound worthy.

But dear god the beginning of that Lone remix is the pinnacle of fail. I was looking forward to it too.
