Considering I've oredered both the vinyl and CD, I think I'm going to stay strong and wait. Very tempting, however.

I love the new original tracks but don't really like the remixes new to this release, except for the Lone remix.

however i do like the release. just wish it was full of brand new Bibio material rather than being mostly remixes. saying that, i do like the Clark remix simply for the amen.

yeah, new Bibio and old Bibio, completely different. It really has a polarising effect on anyone I show it to.

This is how it feels listening to it, like two separate EPs. I love the remixes, but the new songs are something else altogether, all four are amazing. Been playing the shit out of them today. And four major releases in 2009 (plus the 7" and iTunes EP) with absolutely no dip in quality deserves a lot of respect. I wish he could keep that work rate up.

For a jumping on point, I reckon you could do worse than Vignetting, which in hindsight sounds like a bit of a transition. If you like that then the difference between Fi and the Warp stuff may not sound quite so drastic (perhaps, I dunno).

this is really freakin good. i like this more than ambivalence.

Got mine today, and it's very lovely.

Some of the remixes I'm not overly keen on, but particular highlights are the remixes by letherette (prboably my favourite), the gentlemen losers, and lone.

only managed to listen to the second half of the ep today. the Leatherette remix is indeed lush. as is the gentleman losers remix (was a little disapointed originally, seemed like a match made in heaven, but i love it now). wax stag remix is also top form (much like his album. which also in toptoptop form).

bibio's remix of Palm of Your Wave is ultra-beautiful :)

nah they definitely aren't putting them out sequentially - i'm in the UK and my copy is #189. considering there's only supposed to be 150 in the UK, they're definitely not sending them in sequence.
