edit- prior too I had a red 318ti - just wax the shit out of it and it won't turn pink.

see that's unusual - a facelift E46 saloon/sedan(2002 on) with orange indicator lens still. All facelift E46 over here (the upswept headlights rather than downswept on the pre-facelift) have clear/silvered out indicator lens. Must be a US thing.

This is getting sad..

edit: that's a nice VW G60 - another classic.

Damn I couldn't figure out what was odd about that BMW and you've just hit the nail on the head. Never seen a facelift with Orange indicators, how odd.
