Aphex Twin Music similar to Aphex Twin

Hello,

I just joined this forum, i'm a fan of Aphex Twin obviously. I also make my own music. My artist name is "Cygnus Vade." It's a solo project where I compose, play and record everything myself, then mix, edit and produce it. So far, I've made 12 albums under this project. My style is ambient, experimental, industrial, noise, cinematic, spastic and out there for the most part. I take influences from everywhere. Some elements are similar to Aphex Twin, while others are similar to Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Trip Hop music, Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Portishead, Hella and etc. Anyways, I have an artist page and I'll post some of my albums on here to download from megaupload. My earlier albums are low sound quality and will eventually be re-recorded. Hope you enjoy.

whilst i appreciate the fact that you have recorded and played it all yourself etc, your music is nothing like aphex twin unfortunately. my two cents.

Oh ok, sorry about that. I'll post my music there, this thread can be deleted by whoever does that.

My music on my artist page isn't really aphex twin like, but some of my albums are, hope you enjoy!

I don't want to copy aphex twin too much either, or any of the bands I like, so it won't sound THAT much

like those bands.

I just think that fans of aphex twin and other industrial acts may like some of my music.

Radioheads best period was inspired by Aphex, Nine Inch Nails released two songs by Aphex, Trip Hop music = Portishead etc etc.

Aphex was always lording it up over your other influences.

Ehh, electronic and industrial music is so often linked. It's hard trying to find forums and places where I think a specific audience might like my music, I consider my music to be influenced by Aphex Twin among a lot of other artists, so I though this might be a good place to maybe meet like minded musicians. I have pretty rapid changes in genre, style and mood in my songs, it's hard to get a good idea of where I'm at with the songs i have on my artist page. Hope you like my music, enjoy!

all these read the rules comments will become a lot clearer if you just read the rules. nobody said anything about you breaking any rules btw...
