Borderlands (game)

k, so i have the game. just havent started playing yet and don't know much about it. i was wondering, can someone give me a quick overview of the characters and how the system compares to 1? or better yet, i loved mordecai (i love using snipers) which character should i choose that would give me a similar experiance?

im level 27 right now and im destroying a pipeline in a desert somewhere (main quest), im not really paying attention, but is there much left of the campaign? i really want to get started with dishonored.

i played the first game to death, the expansions were great i can't wait for the new ones
