goddamn, so this what it used to look like? everything is better here, the acting, the lighting, every little detail, like facial expressions, make up etc, i might be wrong but even the quality of the picture looks better than in the new season. fuuck.

yup, embarrassed to admit it but I sometimes stick on a random season 1/2 episode just to watch the cinematography, it was really well done back then.

and yeah that jack/locke conversation in that video is great, one of my favorite little segments of the entire series. I have a feeling practically all my favorite parts of the series would be found within seasons 1 & 2

Yeah, the contrast and depth of the filming had a much higher production value in the earlier stages, whether that is in my head or not im not sure. But their blue screen and cgi has always been pretty shocking, but the lol makes up for it.

this episode was ok. i'd do sun. sayid's setting up as an emotionless killer type thing is cringe.

What has happened to Naveen Andrews's acting (Sayid). When he came back to life after being shot he said '"wha' happen?' He sounded like Pablo Francisco when he does his Jackie Chan impression.

the only episode that has made me cringe a bit this season was the Sawyer ep but when he cons both Widmore and evil Locke at the end. that made up for the shitty Sawyer flash whatever...

this week will be fun...

this is how the show is ending, deal with it...

Sayid's a killer zombie, Claire's hair is stupid looking, and Widmore's assistant looks like a cracked out Tina Fey...

Hurley and Lapidus are funny as hell this season, Locke is the devil, Ben might be a good guy now but who knows, Claire's fake mad max baby rules...and there was a good Sun/Jin episode, a miracle....the Richard episode was a 42 minute long well shot, well written, well acted film....and Desmond's back

Did you already watch the latest episode? I'm getting a torrent still. Of course, I KNOW not to expect a damn thing to happen in this episode, as with every single one until the finale. And even then, that's a big maybe

yeah, nothing major happens so far...though it seems somehow desmond from the island is also the desmond in the alternate universe...the lines are blending together psychically or something.

Eloise is pointless, she keeps hinting at stuff Des shouldn't know, yet that only makes him even more aware that something's up. No sane person would do that if they really did want to make sure that he doesn't start getting more curious. She's just a drama queen that wants attention

thought this was a good episode. so this episode said that the alternate timeline is somehow wrong and needs to be corrected. is it the timeline where smokey escapes?

dunno what to think. the episode lasted like 5 minutes for me, which is good i guess.

considering they keep trying to imply that the world goes poof or something with smokey set loose, either the alt must be something else, or smokey isn't evil after all :D
