i'm hoping for a mindblowingly amazing album from autechre or rdj. a return to form, if you will. other than that, i don't give a fuck. 90% of idm is pretty boring imo. i'm more looking forward to hearing a new pivot album. or delphic's album 'acolyte'. that's gonna be amazing.

album 10 in 2010 ......i feel fairly certain Autechre will blow our minds in 2010.

I'm just so happy that electronic music is looking like it might have a brighter future. This decade has been quite shit overall, a lot of good/decent stuff... and some amazing stuff in the early 00's but the drive was gone... it seems that spark is back. Fuck yeah!

Phoenecia.... ah yes, i'm hoping for a whole Schematic Records revival in 2010! i think they might be

struggling to keep their design aesthetic after the fall of Designers Republic. i wonder who they will be working with for their album artwork next? anybody know?

I think Alan M. Parry (the person who came up with the term IDM) was british. Does anyone know if he was british or american?
