Brandi_B
i have the d 16 phoscyon (thought i had mentioned it to you before). It's wonderous. My fav. 303. The 303 sounds in the title track to spectrum dust are all from phoscyon. Everything d 16 does is quality. Guest Spec
Yea I had the audiorealism demo running for a while on ableton, came preloaded with like half of Vibert's famous acid sequences too : O, definitely want some knobs to twiddle though, those korg nano's look pretty neat Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/52239-acid-bass-question/page/3/#findComment-1209445 Share on other sites
Guest ryanmcallister
i have both phoscyon and abl2 but i prefer phoscyon. i use it for all my 303 work. people say authenticity: ABL / devilfish mod: Phoscyon but i think phoscyon sounds just as great when using it standard as ABL. plus it's fucking fun getting in and mucking with the envelope attack and decay setting. and the built in distortion is sick! perfectly tuned to process a 303. Food
I found a pretty fun 303 patch for nord modular g2 the other day. I like it better than Audiorealism Bassline and Phoscyon (at the moment), but I doubt it is more accurate (sounds great to me tho). Here's the patch 303 nmg2 It is patched to a random sequence generator through key quantizers, rather than the step sequencer. So you might wanna change that up. Demo Song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuC-BaMtFIg [Disclaimer: Neither the patch nor video is mine] Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Food's signature Hide all signatures https://soundcloud.com/ov-mountains Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/52239-acid-bass-question/page/3/#findComment-1210783 Share on other sites
BCM
spec - the cause of my facepalm would be the "vibert's famous acid sequences" statement. the sequences that come pre loaded on the ABL are indeed famous, but in no way are they luke vibert's. you must have got confused because of the "ace of clubs" record also featuring many classic acid lines taken from old acid house tracks from '88-'89. Ooo wasn't aware of that. The acid lines from "I love acid" and other tracks off Yoseph and Lover's Acid?
