the tracks do line up with their live show counterparts. apparently someone says a couple tracks are named incorrectly and the order is all out of place, but it is all here. not sure why the ripper botched it so badly. gonna give this a go at work tomorrow, i think i'll prob get the vinyl.

oh man nose art through zodiac shit is so good

the tracklisting goes in the right order, if there are mis-named songs, i have no idea. there are also 2 tracks at the end, quakes and photo shoot?

so far, it def sounds pretty cool, nothing mindblowing. most of the tracks are 2 minutes or less and the whole thing is around 40 minutes, so it feels super short.

Just have to wait to buy the damn thing, it's going to be great, no doubt. I personally think around 45 minutes is the perfect length for an album, it's what I shoot for with my own...

He did play a couple new and unreleased tracks on Gilles Peterson show (also mentioned Thundercat/Stephen something or other playing bass and that he was helping him with his album whatever that means (production?)

Around 2 minutes huh? I don't mind short tracks but sometimes it's annoying when they're all that short.

And I agree that 45 minutes is about the perfect length for an album. Though I prefer them being slightly longer than slightly shorter (like 40 minutes if that's the case here). Really it all depends on the content and how it flows, though. So we'll see. 80 minutes of 2-minute songs would definitely be pretty tiring. :emotawesomepm9:

Yeah, like for example, Computer Face and that Thom Yorke track are fused together

but the running time is right, I believe, and the other tracks seem to be chopped correctly, maybe mistagged though.

there are definitely awkward pauses in some of these. i preordered so i probably should just delete these.

also, the people who are digging this should def check out the new free the robots. very very similar stuff.

And yet it's pressed on two pieces of Vinyl. I don't bother with leaks so can't judge its authenticity, but I'd expect the genuine article to be longer than ~40mins. However, having said that, Clark's Body Riddle is ~42mins long and comes on 2xLP, so it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that this leak is (reasonably) genuine. Any ideas as to why a record of this length would be pressed on two pieces? Higher quality? Artistic choice to split it into four parts?

I agree, what ever happened to the event of opening that new album, listening and having it just be a surprise? These days I'll download things provided by the label or streamed, but in most cases, especially from an artist of this caliber, I really don't have to be the first one to listen to the whole thing and tell everyone how good or bad it is. You know what you're getting more or less, just wait for it- makes getting the physical object that much more special imo.

words of wisdom TGK.

that being said, I couldn't wait and I nabbed it. holy fuck is it great. well worth the anticipation.

My sentiments exactly. I love the anticipation of new releases. Plus it makes me appreciate them more than an instant online download.

Infuckingdeed , my son's .

I'm gonna try to hold out for this one since I pre-ordered it. I was planning to do the same for Oversteps, but I listened to the leak the same night it was released.... I'm weak... and it was Autechre :(
