Autechre Hdfkr

I've never really attempted anything like this before, but after focusing almost exclusively on a dance EP last year, I have decided it would be a refreshing change. Inspired by Autechre in general (nothing specific, really).

i think the introduction is kind of pretensious, but then again i would tell autechre that too. at almost exactly one minute in when it picks up steam i begin to enjoy it more.. that little ethereal WAH sound is a cool glitch piece that could be used dynamically to transition between segments if you feel proper rockstar like you could go from one completely built up part to another, or even a total breakdown... that's a cool wah. near the end i'm not a rahter big fan of ambient noise, but like, i like how you have that grating electronic noise and then by 1:57 you get that undertone of melodics. it is a nice juxtapose. i think that ending the song in the weird electic grating isn't a good idea, i'd fade out from that nice pad/elecnoise juxtaposition.

i also appreciate the fact you call it an autechre song, for that is one of the problems with electronic music today. people should be open and honest about what they're doing and have fun with it.
