There is also a somewhat "overlooked" track on PS2, Gaekwad, which seems to be made of the same set of samples/patches as Maphive 6.1, which is again a wonderful piece with fantastic melody and instrumentation quite unusual for Ae (vibraphone, acoustic bass, and tr808?), just check them to remember how really awesome both tracks are.

YES I've always thought that too! Gaekwad has grown to be one of my favourite Autechre tracks... there are very few that are as uplifting and fun as this (Slip is probably the only other one that comes to mind although I'm sure there's others... Oh yeah the beginning of Stop Look Listen although it gets a bit dark pretty quickly)

Also, 3:22 of reniform puls sounds exactly like a fart I took this morning.

PROTIP: That's why it's named after kidney beans.

I find Pir from EP7 reminds me of Xylin Room and other songs on Draft 7.30, except for the melodic line

r ess is totally the follow up to TAPR.

We had this discussion two days ago and it was very interesting. They both have a recurring chord with a fuckton of reverb put on them and it's amazing.

Pencha and V-Proc remind me of each other, but I love them both a lot anyway. Specifically the later half of both of them.

Surripere and Bine have similar progression.

Lego Feet Side B, 10 minutes in reminds me a lot of Pro Radii in the way the voice is used in it for some reason.

Right after listening to Oversteps I have a huge urge to listen to Foil and Piezo, sometimes Slip.

Cipater and C/Pach.

That'll do for now. =P

the plc and the plclcpc sound really similar except one is longer then the other, and they even have similar titles, wtf...

but seriously, in the last 2 weeks every time sublimit has come on i'd start to hear, 8 minutes in or something similar, very quietly the tune in drane2, but then i tried to focus on it last night and realised it's not really alike.

the splitrmx tracks and zeiss contarex have always sounded alike to me, like if i'm in the mood to listen to one of those tracks, i'll listen to all 3.

The most striking of those resemblances is this one : the strange and deep voices you hear in Silverside are exactly the same you hear at the end of Kalpol Introl.

This similarity is the reason why I hate Silverside. Oh and the cheesy violins.

Oh yeah... the voices in Kalpol Introl are slightly more interesting though...

LCC and Augmatic Disport obviously share a rhythm and an overall structure.

When my iTunes is arranged alphabetically Confield is after Chiastic Slide.

So as Nuane finishes it flows into VI Scose Poise; when you're zoned out it's quite a cool effect, as it seems like the ticking in the coda of Nuane suddenly becomes that "3D" ball bearing noise.

Oh yes, and by far ! They are more "in place" than in Silverside...

Anyway, I just listened to Move of Ten. The beat sounds in "no border" (if we can call it a beat) just like in os veix3. The two tracks have imho the same feeling...Well, that's not bad, because I love the atmosphere of os veix3 :emotawesomepm9:
