I swear to god Scots don't even make sense to one another.

Toured Scotland exactly once, first date was in Glasgow and as we were driving to the venue, this bus comes out of nowhere and brushes our van. The driver leans out of the window and starts shouting "AH'VE CABBAGED YER AMBULANCE!!!!"

We were stuck in traffic next to him for about 10 minutes with him shouting this the entire way down the street until we turned off.

So although it's not my locality, "AH'VE CABBAGED YER AMBULANCE!" is the most impenetrable local slang I've ever heard.
