i think it's because there's a bit of depth to it as well. i've said it before but waddy is a conceptual artist par excellence. he doesn't do any of his stuff by halves. i think he entered into the 'die antwoord' thing with a fully-formed concept in his head, and in his own way takes it all very seriously despite the fact it's funny as fuck. it's apparent in interviews and in how much to heart he takes the whole 'i am ninja' thing.
