Bridge is a good player but if he doesn't go I don't reckon it will be as devastating as some people are making it out to be. If Cole isn't fit then I reckon Lescott will be first choice, then maybe Warnock.

A.Cole > Baines > Warnock > Lescott > me > my dead gran > Phil Neville > Nicky Shorey

Francis Benali only retired from non league football a couple of years ago, no doubt he keeps himself in good nick, may be worth a shout.

my #1 choice to replace cole and bridge would be Ledley King. who is miles better then bridge anyways, and can play in either left back or central defender or even midfield and has lots of experience being captain for spurs for the last 5 odd years

Cahill is almost definitely out for the season, blood clot in his arm. Not really the best full back option.
