of course it is! sports are great for that reason! to entertain us, to show people achieve goals and have fun! but the olympic spectacle only dilutes this fact, in my opinion. just sounding off, sorry.

BUT EVERY FUCKING DAY ON THE BBC THEY FOCUS ON THIS SHIT. IT'S FUCKING DULL COMPARED TO THE AWESOMENESS OF BOBSLEIGH, SKELETON AND SNOWBOARD-CROSS.

WE ONLY WIN ONE FUCKING GOLD MEDAL, AND THE BBC THINK WE'RE HALF FUCKING GOOD AT CURLING SO STICK TO HAVING SOME UNFIT FUCKING DULLARD EX-CURLER SIT OPPOSITE STEVE CRAM AND TALK SHIT FOR TWO HOURS. ARRRRGH.

i love watching professional curling for some reason. it's exhilerating. maybe it's cause we always win.

i lol'd when i saw the 2 or 3 jamaicans during the opening ceremonies. and as of today we have tied the all time record for gold medals won at any olympics. if we take hockey we are the new champs. canada is for some reason doing really well.
