Aphex Twin album

Warp Records reveals Electronic pioneer's new record is on the way

13 March 2009 - Experimental wizard Aphex Twin is notoriously reclusive when it comes to his music but 6 Music can reveal his new album's in the works.

Steve Beckett, founder of Aphex’s parent label Warp Records, exclusively said: “We’re definitely going to be putting out a new album by him. Hopefully it will be this year, if I can prise it out of his hands. It’s definitely on its way.”

LoL. Very true mate and Carnival Acid is a blessing so I am happy with that.

Something about the thought of an Aphex Twin release on Warp that gets people including me excited. Don't know why.

my guess: manchester track together with other "tuss tracks" on rephlex (for example the one he played in the minehead set before kraftwerk's "der telefonanruf"), mindblowing aphex twin album on warp with a complete new sound. at least i hope so.

oh that won't stop him

Not Disturbing Mammoth 1 & 2 were the first tracks he made after going deaf. He placed the side of his head directly on the speaker and felt the vibrations, Beethoven-style.
