This release is available on Discogs for sale. Did somebody got their preorders?

i haven't had my preorder yet, but i'm hoping The Black Dog will send them out early, like with The Vexing Remixes EP.

The official release date is supposed to be 10th May, but Bleep had it as 19th April (today).

I'd almost think the album should have been called Music From Airports.

I agree, makes much more sense and sounds better

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

really???!

now i'm starting to believe Awepittance with regard to his "Warp's dodgy dealings" posts in the Oversteps debacle.

The Black Dog had it announced as released on 10th May from the get go, and I preordered mine at least a month before Bleep even had it on their site.

They're mailing the last of the Dust Store preorders out today.

it's not a smack down. they're just trying to say it's music actually made in real airports as opposed to imagined airports, like that snorfest Ambient 1.

Actually, the back of the Lounge EP sleeve has a picture of Eno and a huge caption that says LIAR.

Not very subtle.

glad Black Dog is doggin on Brian Eno. Way too many people in the electronic music scene take that guy and his (repeated, stolen) ideas far too seriously. His deck of cards is perhaps the most interesting thing about the man.

Fuck Brian Eno

and for my 2 cents, the album title is fantastic. The hilarious idealism and stolen concept of Eno's first album seems very crass and 70's new agey dated now.

It's like lol to me that The Black Dog has these like really strong rooted opinions they want to throw, and so they put out an ambient album about it.

mine showed up may 1st.

It was an interesting listen, is a great idea, and a cool package, but I'd be surprised if I crave a second spin down the line.

It's a great album. If they wanted to capture alienation and paranoia they succeeded for me. Also an unpredictable move after the last two albums (which I also love). I take it Thee Lounge is in the same vein?

Those fools don't know what they started. Eno won't rest until he has his revenge. The album is brilliant IMO.
