I don't recommend them to anyone that doesn't already have a tb or x0xb0x. Re: analog polysynth- This is purely personal taste, but I've found I use my poly very seldom (DSI P08). My philosophy is that pads should generally be thin as you have so many notes stacked up, and they should be complex/evolving which is something more suited for vsts or analog modeling synths. I can't recommend the Virus TI highly enough for poly.
