heh found a way to make kinda subtle remixes (I think) - still experimenting god I have been at it for hours. No edits apart from chopping off the end and a crap fade. And lol I hear a boc style melody in this one :emotawesomepm9:

vs-mood is another version of the same save (this is not subtle, just a repetitive dark sort of thing)

these were both eccojr + Battletoads VS Double Dragon.

I've been having a few weirdly remixed tracks coming out as well, that definitely bear relation to music composed in the game. but that just reminded me, I got this one thing from super hang on into revenge of shinobi that I don't recognize from either. and it sounds awesome. fans of either game, do y'all happen to recognize it?

might I also say that ghouls_into_virtua_fighter_(32x)_002 slays and kidcham lvl2 into streetfighter2s_00 and sonic3_beatboss_into_revengeshinobi_003 are mindblowingly cool.

glad you dug those discoveries food, those are most of my favorites. tho I did just discover a 46 minute thing that sounds so repetitive but with a completely non-repetitive structure, it may be the most annoying piece of music to have ever existed. that may be my new favorite.

oh and re: using your own music, there may be a way, if you use trackers.

http://www.zophar.net/utilities/genutil/mod2psg.html

this software supposedly converts a mod file into something playable on the sega master system. and then if there was someway to hack that music into an existing master system rom, there's a utility on that site that can convert master system roms into genesis roms. I think that would do the trick. if I can track down any of those bogdan raczynski mod files I just may try this myself.

That's got to have been a regular song from the game playing, right? Sounds way too melodic to be fully all thanks to glitching.

yeah, its pretty similar to the orignal song in respects, but also quite different - more a remix effect than loud glitching. I got it by saving in BTvsDDlev 1, loading into eccojr, waiting a bit saving again, then back to the original game. I like the off remixes this produces, but it doesn't work with most games. Got another good one with this technique with sonic3.

Ah, well you've got to load the rom first and then the extra menu items to load and save states will appear. (you are using gens plus yeah ?)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.
