Enough is enough.

Recommended Posts

Have read reviews/comments around the net now about 3 or 4 times describing "Ilanders" as their nod to Dubstep. I seriously don't see it. It's not as if it's the first time they've used that bass sound (clipper is almost 15 years old now).....and the rhythms are just as glitchy and autechre as ever. Does anyone agree that it sounds like some people are just hearing what they want to hear in the tune, or can someone point out to my where the dubstep connection is??

It can't be, because there isn't any such thing as dubstep!

I concur. ilanders isn't dubstep. For a start, it's worth listening to.

The nod of approval.

enough is enough!

i have made some statements in the mega-thread guessing what oversteps would sound like. statements in regards to

dubstep and i was wrong. i do believe however that quaristice versions and quadrange have alot of

abstract dubstep and dub techno influences woven within them.

i think it would be safe to say that oversteps is completely void of even a hint of dubstep.
