i cry a lot. i don't know why. it occurs mainly in reaction to movies. in school, it happens a lot at inappropriate times (thankfully i rarely get caught doing this). i cried in world history when we watched a video on the ottomans and janissaries. i cried in sophomore english when we watched a documentary on oprah opening schools in south africa (this time, my friend actually turned around to talk to me while it was happening and i made some lame excuse, urgh). i cried during film class when we watched "the bear" and the mother bear died. marlon brando movies get me. when we watched "the godfather" in film, i must've cried at least three or four times. i can't take the scene where apollonia dies or when carlo tells michael of his betrayal or where sonny is shot to death or where connie is beat up any of the movie.
