Autechre Paris tonight

I am bringing some fellows intellectuals that have never heard a single note of autechre and that generally don't like electro. Just to see what will happen.

I have a ticket for the show tonight, and I will be unable to attend it. If you, Otto, or anyone here knows somebody who is looking for a ticket, I sell mine at 15€. I just wasn't able to bring some intellectual friends :D

Since I can't find the words to explain how it was I am just gonna tell you my friend's reaction.

First one got sick few hours before the show (lol). And was replaced by my best friend who kept telling me "this is fantastic, this is marvellous" during the show so I was unable to concentrate.

Second fellow got sick during the show and then disapeared (forever I think )

Third one, the intellectual one, said he had two transes during the show and he saw his own death 4 times and most of the time he was flying with fishes inside metal circles. But he found it very enjoyeable.

Me, I cried and then was unable to speak for an hour. Especially with that motherfucker in a bar at 5am who was trying to explain me that autechre and venetian snares were merely the same thing, only vs was louder.

Oh, and we didn't take drugs, only alcohol. And I am not exagerating, it's just that we are french, you know, very emotive, romantic, all that...

don't worry, we won't hold it against you... glad you had a good time

vs doesn't even compete. it's like muggsy bogues 1 on 1 vs michael jordan. both (former) pro nba players, one is clearly better at everything.
